DESCRIPTION:Meet at 9.30am at the Staveley Nature Reserve car park of the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. From Staveley village take the Minskip/Boro’bridge road and at the new housing estate turn left into the car park. Space for about 15 cars so we should be okay. \nThe walk is about 4.25 miles mostly flat with a couple of stiles. Good walking shoes or boots advised. \nLunch will be at the Blue Bell\, Arkendale (HG5 0QT) at 1.15pm.

DESCRIPTION:With the terrible weather of late I have been looking for a walk where at least some of it will be on good surfaces. Certainly not a time to be heading too far afield. \nPlease meet at 10.00 at the Conyngham Hall car park in Knaresborough\, where parking is £1.50 for 4 hours. The walk is about 3.5 miles with three quarters of the walk on paved surfaces with the remainder on wet/muddy paths and across a field. \nLunch to follow at 1.00 at the Knaresborough Inn. \nPlease let me know if you plan to join either the walk or lunch or both. \nJohn Dixon

DESCRIPTION:Meet at the Timble/Blubberhouses crossroads at 9:45 for a 10:00 start \nWeather and ground conditions have forced a change from the originally-planned walk\, and it will now be a shorter one on stone or gravel paths\, with about a half mile of grassy fields.  Mostly a good walking surface\, although there is one disgusting muddy section of about 200 yards that cannot be avoided\, and it should take less than 2 hours. \nLunch afterwards will still be at the Timble Inn\, but now with a 12:30 start

DESCRIPTION:The December walk will be the traditional Christmas walk at Swinsty Reservoir followed by lunch at The Nelson Inn at 1.00pm.
