The walk is on paths tracks and some roadway for approximately 4.5 miles with level terrain.

Start at the Ripon Canal car park ( 9.45 for 10.00) on Boroughbridge Road off the Ripon by-pass. If coming from Ripon, you will see the canal on your right – you will see the fencing for Lock House turn right immediately after it then immediately right into the car park area.

Lunch is booked for 1pm at the Inn at South Stainley (please remember to enter your car registration at reception).
