I felt it was a really exciting day. Beautiful weather, smooth coach ride. fascinating place, which I’d never been to, and didn’t quite know what to expect.
Lots of memories came flooding back of parents and grandparents houses, sounds and smells and the sight of people in costume going about their lives as if nothing had changed since the 1920s.

I hope it wasn’t too strenuous for members. maybe the relatively small turnout was because it was quite far away, or too close in time to the last event, the Hollins Halll lunch?

I’d like to see lots of different events, maybe tailored to different interests. Some would have lots of people joining in – others just a few.

    What do you think?
    David
