On 14th December 2022, we returned to our friends at the Oakdale Golf Club for our traditional Christmas Lunch.  They provided a delicious meal, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the 42 members and their guests who attended, and the function ended with Stuart Jennings’ whimsical raffle.

Two weeks after the Christmas Lunch, we held a carol concert and lunchtime buffet at our base at the Oatlands Club.  The singing was splendidly performed by members of the Harrogate Theatre Choir and the members present – numbers sadly reduced by concern about the threat of Covid – thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

After the disruptions of the last 18 months, we resumed our traditional Christmas Lunches with a meal at Oakdale Golf Club on 1st December.  The 53 members and their guests who attended had an excellent time and the Club provided an excellent meal.

We held our traditional Christmas Lunch for 2019 at Oakdale Golf Club on 4th December.  The Club provided an excellent meal, and a grand time was enjoyed by all.

At the invitation of our Mr Andrew Jones MP, members of the club made a return visit to the Houses of Parliament on 4th September 2017.  The President’s description of the visit is available here and, if you click on the photo to the right, you can seem some pictures of the  visit, courtesy of Chris McDevitt.

The club returned again to Hollins Hall, near Killinghall, for its annual summer lunch on Wednesday, 30th August 2017.  Although overcast, the day was mild and dry, allowing us to enjoy the Hall’s terrace and its views These pictures have kindly been supplied by Derek Wilkinson.

The club held its annual summer lunch on Wednesday, 10th August 2016, at Hollins Hall, near Killinghall.  One of the many joys this year was to have the company of Inge, the widow of former member Ken Little. These pictures of the event have kindly been supplied by Derek Wilkinson.

In April, 2011, members of the club made a trip to see the tulip fields of Holland.  These photos from the club’s archives are a record of those few days.
