The August Walk is around Grassington and is about 3+ miles. The walk descends from Linton and follows the Wharfe and then climbs up to go through the village and back across the river to the Fountaine Inn. The route is mostly flat and there are about 3 stiles.

Meet in front of the Fountaine Inn green at Linton next to Grassington (BD235HJ ) at 9:15 for departure 9:30.

The pub is good and is recommended for those who want join the walkers for lunch,
